Payroll Manager

The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing payroll operations for employees based in Casablanca and across Morocco, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary processing. The role ensures full compliance with Moroccan labor law, social security regulations, and tax obligations while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and data accuracy. The Payroll Manager will work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll execution and reliable reporting.

Job Qualifications:

• Proven experience in payroll management or payroll administration (typically 3–5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan labor law and payroll-related regulations (CNSS, CIMR, IR tax rules).
• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems used in Morocco or similar environments.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of employee compensation, deductions, and benefits structures.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• French/English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage the full payroll cycle for employees based in Morocco.
• Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Moroccan tax regulations, CNSS contributions, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain and update payroll records, employee data, and contractual changes.
• Coordinate with HR for attendance, leave, promotions, and contract updates.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and financial summaries for management.
• Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory declarations and social security contributions.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll and compliance.
• Supervise payroll processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with Finance to ensure payroll aligns with budgeting and reporting requirements.
